How do I transfer my current web hosting service to eVentureBiz web hosting?

If you currently are hosting with another company and would rather partner with us (thanks!), we strongly recommend transferring your domain before you cancel your current hosting account. Transfer time will take about a week, so you don't want any downtime.If you're ready to transfer your domain here's what you will need to do:
- Verify that it's at least 60 days after your domain registration date. In accordance with ICANN rules, you cannot transfer your domain to another provider until 60 days after your domain registration date.
- Make sure your domain is unlocked and is public (i.e. if you registered your domain under private registration, you will need to change it to public so our email will reach you). If you are unsure, contact your hosting company and ask them if your domain is unlocked and set to public.
- Get your EPP Code (a.k.a. Authorization Code). Your hosting company or domain registrar should have a section where you can "View Your Authorization Code." Be sure to write this code down because you will need to provide it to us when signing up for our web hosting.

Back up your files. If you have files stored on your old hosting provider's server (i.e. your website), be sure to download them to your computer or disk so that you can upload them to your new hosting account with us.
- If using FrontPage, use the Import feature to make a complete copy of your current website.
- If using Dreamweaver, use the GET command.

Sign up with one of our hosting plans. Enter your EPP Code in the box during sign up. Once you select a plan and place the order you will receive detailed information by email, including Control Panel address, login, password and further information.

- Check your administrative contact email address (the email address associated with your domain). We will send an email to your domain administrative contact to confirm your domain transfer. If you can't receive the confirmation, you won't be able to complete the transfer!
- Cancel your old hosting account (be sure you have downloaded all your files first so you can upload them to your new hosting account with us).
