Outlook Express 6.0 Email Setup
Here's a quick tutorial on how to set up your Email accounts using Microsoft Outlook Express 6.0.

The first thing you have to do is set up an Email account (i.e. create an Email address) within your control panel. Once logged in, click on E-Mail Manager and create an Email address from there.
| In Microsoft Outlook Express, from the Tools menu, select
Accounts.

Go to the Mail tab and from the Add menu, select Mail.

In the Display Name field, enter your full name and click Next.

In the E-mail address field, enter your E-mail address and click Next.

On the E-mail Server Names page, enter your information as follows: My incoming mail server is a: Select POP3. Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: Type mail.eventurebiz.com Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: Type mail.eventurebiz.com Click Next

In the Account Name and Password fields, enter your E-mail address and password, and then click Next.

On the setup confirmation page, click Finish.

On the Mail tab, select the account you just created and then click Properties.

Go to the Servers tab. Select My server requires authentication, and then click Apply.

Go to the Advanced tab. In the Server Port Numbers section, change Outgoing mail (SMTP) to 2525, and then click OK (If later you find you can only check your E-mail but not send any, return to this screen and change your Port setting to 25). Incoming mail (POP3): should have 110 in it. Click OK.

The incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) mail server is:mail.eventurebiz.com
Note that in order to use the outgoing server you must set in your mail client the option "My server requires authentication." Also, SSL setting and TLS should be disabled.
The incoming and outgoing Username is:
your email address (e.g. youremail@yourdomain.com)
E-Mail Password:
The password is the password you set when you created the E-mail address in your
control panel. To change your password, return to the
control panel and click on the E-Mail Manager icon. From there you will be able to change your E-Mail passwords.
Outgoing (SMTP) mail Port:
Our SMPT Port is 25 but but if you cannot connect you can try 2525 which is an alternative SMPT Port. Many customers can only use 2525.
You can check your E-mail online from anywhere in the world by going to:
- eVentureBiz Webmail
- Use your Username (the E-Mail address) and Password to log in.
