Business aside, this is a fantastically written post. Your descriptions were so precise, I could see you in that leather chair, twirling your pen, suddenly pushing off your desk, rolling back two feet and saying. “There!….. ”

Yes. The web in many ways is a hangout. It’s a hangout where people need things. They need websites, advertising, graphics, etc. To talk to them, you have to speak their language. I hope I speak their language.

I think the more human our websites are (and less boring), the better people will relate.

Copywriting does not equate boardroom bland.
Web content does not mean “well, I’m falling asleep, now.”

STAND OUT. It’s OKAY to have life. It’s OKAY to be cool or be suave or be sleazy, even (in moderation.) Your business has personality - give that to your website, too.

The Gen X and Yers that will be leading the future WANT this - and they are the ones that rule the web. It is THEIR home… we built it, but they made it their hangout, their society, their place to be.

So speak to them - because they don’t give a damn about stiff professional suits and boring content.
